What types of cameras can I connect to my Sporfie event?

Smartphones or Tablets

How to add your mobile device or tablet to film:

• Install the Sporfie App
• Sign in and create an event
• Tap the "Add Camera" button to add your camera
• Share your event link and others can add more angles, watch the game live and save their personal highlights.

 

GoPros (Hero 7 Black or later) and Action Cams

How to use Sporfie with your GoPro or Action Cam:

• Go to the "Recording Devices" tab in your Account Settings and follow the instructions to create your RTMP Streaming URL
• Enter the provided streaming URL in your action camera (e.g. using GoPro App)
• Create an event in the Sporfie App and use the add stream button to bind it to your camera stream
• Start your camera RTMP streaming and you will see it activate as a camera in the Sporfie App
• Share your event link for others to watch live and save highlights

 

Permanent Cameras

How to connect Sporfie to your facility’s existing security/surveillance cameras:

• Contact us at [e-mail] to activate your account and receive your streaming URL
• If your cameras support RTMP, enter the provided URL and start streaming.
• If your cameras do not support RTMP, we would work with your IT to allow our server to pull the stream from them using RTSP.
• If you own a facility with multiple events happening at the same time, our system can auto-create events for you based on a default hourly slot or by importing your custom schedule.
• Share your Sporfie landing page link for others to join your events, watch live, replay and save highlights.

 

Live or Broadcast Streams

How to add your existing broadcast or live stream feed:

• Contact us at [e-mail] to activate your account and receive your streaming encoder device
• Have an IP-RTMP camera? Simply use the provided URL to start the streaming and highlights service for your audience
• Have a HDMI/SDI camera? You would receive our encoder to connect to your camera and instantly start the service for your audience
• Are your broadcasted events also attended by fans onsite? Invite them to download the free Sporfie mobile app to instantly save and share their favorite plays captured from your cameras.
