The app requires 2-3 GB of storage for each 1GB of content. So if you need to record for 1 hour, the app will need 2-3 hours of equivalent storage. This is because of how Apple allows apps to allocate storage resources during the recording.
The Sporfie app stores local recordings in the Videos section. You need to remove files from there to have storage used by the app freed up on your device.
The usable storage is shown to you by the app when you start a camera. There is a grey indicator at the bottom left of the screen that tells you how much time you have left for local recordings.
