Can I connect my GoPro or other action camera to the Sporfie App?

Using a GoPro Hero 7 Black or later, you can stream to the Sporfie cloud and have your GoPro appear as a camera inside your event. From the Sporfie mobile app or web app, you will then be able to capture highlights, watch the live stream and have the full recording of the game saved in the cloud for future access.

 

To add a GoPro, you need to have a Live+ plan (free 7-day trial available) and create your streaming RTMP URL from the Sporfie Web App here: https://sporfie.com/settings/encoders

 

Once you have your streaming URL, you need to set it in your GoPro using your GoPro App.

 

Finally, in the Sporfie App, create an event, then enter the event by tapping on its card and tap on the button “Add Stream” (the one above the Camera icon) to enable your device ID.

Once you have enabled your device ID, you can start the live stream on your GoPro and verify you see it in the App.

 

Note the “Add Stream” button will become visible to you only after you have created your deviceID in the web app through the link above.
