Quick Start Guide

Follow these steps to start streaming from your mobile device.

Before you begin
Make sure location access is enabled for the Sporfie app in your phone settings.

For the best streaming experience, we recommend having the following equipment:
• Tripod — to keep your camera stable and properly angled during the match
• Battery pack — to keep your phone charged throughout the event

Step 1 — Open the app
Open the Sporfie app to the home screen.

Step 2 — Create an event
Tap "Create Event" at the bottom of the home screen.

Step 3 — Set up your event
Every event requires 3 things: Event Name, Sport, and Location. Fill in all three fields before proceeding.

Step 4 — Verify your organization
Confirm that the "Public Page" and "Organization" dropdowns show your organization name. If they don't, make sure you're logged in to the correct account.

Step 5 — Open the event
Tap "Done" in the top right corner to open the event.

 

Step 6 — Add your camera
Tap the + icon on the left side of the screen, then select "Camera" from the menu.

Step 7 — Start the camera
Scroll to the bottom of Camera Settings and tap the red "Start Camera" button.

Step 8 — You're live!
Rotate your phone to landscape mode (sideways) — and you're streaming live.
